Afternoon!

Ok, here's some more of the jewellery I've been making!

I wasa  bit disappointed with this pack of beads (the pearl type ones - Jilly Beads - Faraway Mix : ivory silk on a golden beach) - I just don't think they were my type of thing. Mr S suggested putting the odd gemstone bead in the mix (I used Red Jasper) and I think it's made it a bit more interesting....hmmmm.

Now, I'm not a massive Twilight fan (I've seen the first 2 films), but this one made me think of Twilight straight away!  It's really funky and sparkly!  I love the occassional little silver star that appears.  One of my faves!  The little stars were from Jilly Beads while the beads were a bargain off ebay for just 99p, and I've quite a lot left! (Give me a shout if you want to know the seller!)

This one was made fom a mix pack of freshwater pearls called 'Fairydust' from Jilly Beads (can you tell where I bought most of my initial stock from?! lol).  It was in the clearance section and it's now vanished (booooo!) but they make a lovely sophisticated bracelet.  This picture actually makes the beads look more brown and grey (which is weird), but in 'real life' they're more pinky.

That'll do for today.  Need to talk to some people about torches. As you do.

Smiler x

  1. Hiya Clare,

I'm your first bloggee! LOL. Fancy the others not having a look. I wasn't on the computer at all yesterday due to migraine, otherwise I'd have been here sooner.

Fab makes. How do you get the wire finishing off so nice? Mine goes all out of shape and not circular. Tips please!
