Ok, so here's my first attempt at putting a picture on a blog. I thought I'd start with my current 'project' - jewellery making. To be honest, I started making jewellery because I knew there were people in work who may buy it, and I need to raise a little money for a family holiday next year.  But I'm really enjoying it.  Even Mr Smiler has gotten involved - he's ended up going eBay crazy and bought loads of beads and stones for me! (Often with mixed results....lovely stuff just a weird mix of colours.... bless 'im.  Can't complain!)

Here's my very first one:

It was made with Jilly Beads' Faraway Fusion Sunset in the Arctic.  It's a GORGEOUS mix of beads.  And plenty in there too. I also made two pairs of earrings with the beads left over(thankfully the pictures don't show my shabby wire work at the top of the earrings too much! lol).



These are my favourite pair, but the picture doesn't really do it justice.

These are quite simple, but look ok in the picture I think!

There's even enough for another pair of earrings and a pendant - but I need to find a nice but simple chain for the weird pendant I've made!

Anyway, there we go! I blame these beads for getting me hooked! lol
